Florida law requires participants born after 01/01/1988 to have a Safe Boaters Card with them in order to drive a wave runner. Sixteen (16) year olds and up with a Safe Boaters Card can drive. You can complete a Boaters’ Safety Test on-site for a fee of $3.00. You must present a valid ID with your birth date to take the test. The temporary card is valid for one year.
